The weekly singing/social sessions only costing £7 or £70 per 10 week term, will kick off on Monday 5th September 2016 at 7:30pm taking you through 10 special dates up to December and then we kick off again in January to help beat the winter blues…We also have lot’s of social events and an annual show where we perform and raise money for charity, which is optional to partake in, but highly wonderful!
The key to this group is: It’s small & friendly & it doesn’t matter if you sing well or not, the main idea is using singing as the medium, where the community support each other and in the process gain all the well-being & health benefits that the sessions bring.
We sing with backing tracks or all together acapella (just voices). There are recorded tracks for you to listen & learn from the website (without written musical dots). You’ll learn new skills in breathing to relieve stress & some gentle physical exercises to help you relax, some great vocal tips and sing various genres of popular music & of course have plenty of fun to help lift your mood, get you smiling and leave buzzing!

Our amazing, talent-packed 2015 show was the 5th annual VoxSkool! music concert, and it was a fantastic night.
Held at the Harlington Centre in Fleet on 1 November, a line-up of talent from all age groups lit up the stage. The audience enjoyed a diverse range of musical styles from individual performers as well as our very own community singing group VoxChoir!
We raised a fantastic £600 on the night to go to our local elderly community to benefit their health and well-being through the power of song and music.
Don’t miss our 5th annual VoxSkool show and music concert! This year at The Harlington Centre Fleet Hants with all proceeds going to help and support our local elderly community through the power of music and singing and offering more music sessions to people getting them out of isolation and impacting positively on dementia sufferers.
Everyone had a fantastic time joining in together for our very first singing workshop at Sainsbury’s The Meads in Farnborough on Wednesday 4th March 2015. It was great to see the local community and the staff thoroughly enjoying themselves and joining in with various singing techniques and conquering feelings of fear and growing in confidence – by the end of the session everyone had a great posture, was breathing much better and feeling on top of the world! It’s also lovely when people ask questions which we can all discuss more in depth to help others around us. Thank you to Sainsbury’s for providing a place for us to hold it. VoxSkool! will be running the second session from there very soon – watch out for upcoming dates!
