The Harlington Voxy Sunshine Concert July 2018
Wow! What a great concert filled with happy times, fun and lots of new soloists and choirs taking to the stage, some for the very first time! We were thrilled to see all 4 VoxChoirs perform together so beautifully, its an amazing achievement and we’re so thrilled to have welcomed Julia Krajewska our new Voxy leader who runs our Cove Farnborough VoxChoir on Tuesdays and also Woking on Thursdays!
We ran an auction this year to add to the raffle total and people literally went nuts bidding on our top prize of Recording studio day gifted by Mixed Up Studios Fleet, a Rose quartz facial by Jayne Lacy and a VoxSkool Singing lesson – took our total fundraising to £1005.00!!
We are going to use the money to set up another Carers Choir in Hampshire covering Fleet, Farnborough & Aldershot. This decision came to us after the most successful year running a brand new carers choir in Wokingham, so this felt the most perfect option to build up a sister group and share the Voxy love! We will kick off this awesome project in 2019. Please get in touch if you care for a family member in any of the above locations for more info.
And finally here is the footage from our brilliant ‘Sunshine Concert’ this year, with huge thanks going to Dave Sparrow of Mixed Up Studios Fleet for his time and energy putting it all together for us xx
Fab update from last years shows funds are being put into a new project in Yateley at Hedgecroft with Vivid for the elderly residents to benefit from VoxSkool’s amazing volunteers team, including an array of entertainment, singing classes for health and well-being, physical exercises, music quiz, tea dance and Christmas lunch with VoxChoir performance after – all the residents cheered with happiness as we broke the news we were gifting it to them this year! 🙂
After it’s first full year in action, Yateley VoxChoir has been a huge success with it’s locals, leaded by the talented Marcia Slack!
Now in the coming few months VoxChoirs will be reaching out to new communities to jump aboard this fantastic source of inspiration for all lovers of music & socializing and being a part of something wonderful.
We all took part in the very exciting 7th VoxSkool Show on October 1st this year, with just so much talent and energy oozing from each performer whether soloist or part of a VoxChoir and then the people who made everything run like clock-work behind the scenes, from the tech team through to the raffle and tea/cake offerings – this just shows how when communities come together through the medium of music and for a good cause, what brilliant stuff can take place.
This year VoxSkool raised £665.00 which will go to a brand new project in 2018 for Yateley Community people in need – watch this space for updates soon!

Hey, I’m Victoria and I’m so excited about our Kickstarter campaign to raise money for premises for VoxSkool!About 10 years ago I started to coach kids and adults to sing and express themselves through music, as I realised music has the power to change your mood from negative to positive and really aid in the healing of the mind, body and spirit.
VoxSkool! has been going from strength to strength, but I have a dream to take it bigger, so musicians and students can visit a place that feels like ‘home from home’ and reap the benefits of having a larger space to express themselves in and get creative in various rooms within the premises.
It aims to be a safe, warm and friendly place where nobody is judged, only supported and that people can come to and experience an amazing time away from their usual life and problems.
Our amazing, talent-packed 2015 show was the 5th annual VoxSkool! music concert, and it was a fantastic night.
Held at the Harlington Centre in Fleet on 1 November, a line-up of talent from all age groups lit up the stage. The audience enjoyed a diverse range of musical styles from individual performers as well as our very own community singing group VoxChoir!
We raised a fantastic £600 on the night to go to our local elderly community to benefit their health and well-being through the power of song and music.
Here are some photos from the night:
Don’t miss our 5th annual VoxSkool show and music concert! This year at The Harlington Centre Fleet Hants with all proceeds going to help and support our local elderly community through the power of music and singing and offering more music sessions to people getting them out of isolation and impacting positively on dementia sufferers.
On 25th April Victoria BeeBee and VoxChoir! were invited to perform at a charity concert at Newbold Church in Binfield.

The concert brought together many talented local musicians and raised money for ADRA, who support a number of causes, including:
Sainsbury’s Cafe Farnborough
Everyone had a fantastic time joining in together for our very first singing workshop at Sainsbury’s The Meads in Farnborough on Wednesday 4th March 2015. It was great to see the local community and the staff thoroughly enjoying themselves and joining in with various singing techniques and conquering feelings of fear and growing in confidence – by the end of the session everyone had a great posture, was breathing much better and feeling on top of the world! It’s also lovely when people ask questions which we can all discuss more in depth to help others around us. Thank you to Sainsbury’s for providing a place for us to hold it. VoxSkool! will be running the second session from there very soon – watch out for upcoming dates!
